I added encounters for really lost players and I am starting a new encounter format so a D20 is used instead of D100. I will revise the older tables through the rest of the month. The encounter tables include monsters from my books in play list.
Some of the encounters from the tables linked, can be quite tough for low level games, if that is the case, I usually give my players a running start to duck and cover or let them have clues about whose territory they just stumbled into. In fact, many of my game sessions are built up around a single random encounter that ended up developing into a campaign for some of my groups. Not every one has to be about combat if the beast generated from these tables can carry a conversation with the players then let the parley happen. Of course the players have to be in the mood to talk instead of hack…
