In most cases players never have to deal with legal issues, but here are the laws of the land for Jelling if needed. I will add more posts to cover the other areas of Alidor.
Small settlements without proper facilities, like jails or dungeons, will stockade people out in common areas. Stockade time is usually during daylight hours; people sentenced to the stockade report in to the local magistrate’s office, and are placed in the stockade in public view. During the winter months the stockade is moved inside the local great hall, or inn. Sentences can be reduced with good behavior, like showing up on time several days in a row.
Dungeon time is dungeon time.
