There is only one route down from the Poisonmont Highland, The Road of Blood which starts at the west gate of Stavenger and ends a hundred miles away at the heavily fortified east gate of Holmgaard.

Holmgaard sits in a valley between two mountains MT. Jenault and Mt. Benir. Gold dragons live up in the mountains and help defend the city from the armies of Stavenger. The cities east wall has one gate and it seldom is open.
