A village built on the steep cliffs of western Jelling coast. Best known for its four freshwater springs that boil up to the surface in the small sheltered harbor below the village. Many sea going vessels stop here to fill up on fresh water from the wells before heading west across the Winwell Sea. Many of the main structures in town are built inside what once must have been a great fortress; today it is only recognizable as keep shaped up rise in the land, with two low points that must have been gates to the east, and to the south at one time. An inn and tavern situated on the cliffs edge called the Cliffs Edge has an animated bucket pulley system that pulls water from Nancy’s Spring which is the spring that boils up right next to the cliff. The other springs Jilar’s Spring Dedri’s Spring and Frankton’s Spring are all further out in the harbor. The water drawn from the Nancy’s Spring fills a small pool in the Cliffs Edge Inn, and then flows outside the inn to a grand fountain and pool used by the entire village. The town council is made up mainly from the relatives of either the Yates noble house, or the Flagler noble house, both houses own the majority of the land in the Westmoor District of Jelling. The Yates family manor located halfway between Brendon Mill and Four Wells has been abandoned, and recently burned leaving very little of the original house above ground. The Kirk invasion in 1665 left Four Wells scared, as the invaders burned most of the town on their retreat back to the sea.
