Surmarkan Yirret, Level 23 (Elite Controller)

Surmarkan Yirrets are the elite arial warriors of Surma’s army of centaurs; there is exactly one surmarkan yirret for every settlement on the Island of Jelling. Surmarkan yirrets leave the island of the dragon on Lake Surma once a year to pick up tributes to Surma, they also drop off a list of what the dragon wants as a gift for the next year. When a settlement fails to produce the requested gift, the surmarkan yirrets find out why. If the gift, or an adequate excuse for not having the gift is not produced the surmarkan yirret will return, and wake up the dragon. On occasion, the surmarkan yirret will delay returning to the Island for three days. After three days, the surmarkan yirret will return to the dragon’s island on Lake Surma, with or without the object. Settlements on the Island of Jelling, who fail to produce an item for the dragon’s hoard will be eaten. It has been 30 years since a village failed failed produce a tribute, and that village was leveled, its people eaten, all within days of the surmarkan yirrets visit.

The surmarkan yirret makes a charge attack: +28 vs. AC; 4d6 + 8 damage, and the target is pushed 1 square and knocked prone.
Ranged: Fey Beguiling (standard; recharges when no creature is affected by the power) ✦ Charm Ranged 5; +27 vs. Will; the target cannot attack the surmarkan yirret, and the target must make opportunity attacks with a +2 bonus against any creature within reach that attacks the surmarkan yirret (save ends).
