Known as the “Caller of the Dragon” the Surmarkan Chiral is the Queen of the Centaurs of Jelling. As Queen, the surmarkan chiral is kept busy ensuring that no one interrupts the dragon’s sleep. Darkest green of the surmarken centaurs, the chiral is also the eldest and most powerful centaur on the island. The surmarkan chiral does not have audience with any man, beast or dragon. She spends her time in the great thrown room, on the Island of the Dragon, guarding the entrance to the dragons lair. Dwarves of Mt. Revenge say the throne of the chiral rises 300 feet in the air and is surrounded by flowing, red hot, molten magma nearly 500 feet in diameter. The throne room, is the last room before the final door which leads down into Surma’s lair. The chiral keeps the key to the door of dragon’s lair on chain around her neck. Only at night, when both Moda and Claret are full, does the chiral stir from her throne, and travel the land. It is said, that if you meet the chiral on such a night, and present her a book worthy of reading, she will in turn, give one gift back. It is important to note that one should not request anything specific from the chiral, and any gift given should be politely accepted.

damage, and the target is pushed 1 square and knocked prone.

Ranged 12; +30 vs. Reflex; 2d8 + 9 cold damage, and the target is slowed (save ends).
Cast: Surma’s Chilling Defiance (standard; at-will) ✦ Cold, Healing
Close burst 3; targets enemies; automatic hit; the target takes 13 cold damage and is slowed until the end of the surmarkan chiral’s next turn.
The surmarkan chiral regains 5 hit points for each enemy who takes damage from this power.
