Starting Work on the Settlement of Glenfiddich

I mentioned in the past that the lands around Glenfiddich have hosted many battles between the Kirks and the Duffs, but I have never mentioned anything about the city itself, or whether it has been involved in the wars between these two nations. Well, the reason Glenfiddich is not involved is due to the fact that the city is built on a large free floating chunk of rock surrounded by three smaller slowly orbiting rocks. All the floating rocks drift up and down in the sky pushed and pulled by the force of gravity as the two moons Moda and Claret, orbit around the world of Alidor, the same way the tides on the ocean also rise and fall with the movement of the moons. Here is a quick render of Glenfiddich.

Since Glenfiddich is a floating city, that drifts up and down in the air while also slowly rotating, it ends up being a very difficult settlement to attack with an army. The Kirks once tried building a earthen ramp up to the city, but the smaller floating rocks around it destroyed the ramp as it go close. The ramp still exists and even boasts an inn called the Almost There Inn. After 20 years of failed campaigns against the floating city, the Kirks gave up on conquering Glenfiddich and instead pressed on to attack the Duffs.
