Half Elf Wizard

Another player from my first run at 4e decided to retire his character, a 7th level half-elvin wizard named Golel Kingleaf, in the floating city of Glenfiddich which floats between the foothills of Mt. Laudin and the Winwell sea. The land below the city has been in dispute and many battles have been waged in the valley below the city as the men of Kirkland and the men and dwarves of Duftland fight for the territory below and around the floating city.

Golel opened up a magic shop near the gladiatorial coliseum called Golel’s Magic Goods and Oddities. He said he did not like One Eyed Pete’s shop called the Rabid Earwig’s Brazier of Greater Magic. He felt his character would make a better magic shop merchant than One Eye’d Pete. He opened his shop in the same neighborhood as Pete’s. I thought it was neat idea, and I have been thinking up all sorts of ways to integrate the conflict between the two shop owner’s in my next game.
