I Will Rain of Blows Starting with the Hershey’s Kiss

The 4e RPGA game on Friday went well. Here is a high light. A dwarf battle rager attacked two monsters with a melee encounter power. He said “I with start with the Hershey’s Kiss and follow through into the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup.” I apologize for not knowing what power he used. The guy had a PC class from a book I don’t have. But the player had a blast attacking my edible monsters. In the image, we also started using colored foam from Hobby Lobby cut into 1 inch squares different colors for Dazed, Immobilized and Marked. The yellow soda cap ring was for some curse another player had tossed out.

The low points of Fridays game: I was annoyingly asked if “this was a skill challenge” every time I asked for a skill check. I did my best to stealth the skill challenge, but the meta-gamers couldn’t fathom it. What role-play? What do you think this is Pathfinder?
