Central Jelling

This is an updated map of Central Jelling. I added a bunch of little villages and towns that were just dots on the original Jelling map. Since I am running a new Pathfinder game I thought I would start in a new area on my maps. I chose Kingleaf and I am presently detailing the area around Kingleaf. Bimnok Keep is a gnomish settlement. I noticed the Pathfinder gnomes seem more like nackle gnomes so I added them back into my home game as an allowed race. Bimnok is their home in Jelling. It is a small keep on the frontier surrounded by a small gnome settlement. Bimnok is a great place to go to find odd gadgets or to have complicated machine built. To Kingleaf’s East is the village of Goldensong and it is the home of elves. The town of Goldensong is beautifully landscaped and planned but is essentailly a tree less community with the exception of a tomb tree here and there left over from the town’s pervious brunari inhabitants. Further east is Quicktide which was one of the first camps set up for the naval invasion of the dragon’s Island. The invasion failed and the dragon Surma burned down all the trees within 10 miles of the coast worthy of being used for ship building after that incident. Quicktide is now a sleepy fishing village at the mouth of the river Surma.

South of Quicktide is Maplebow whose residents are famous for their sugar houses that produce maple syrup and maple sugar candies. Maplebow is a very small thorp near First Falls on the river Surma. Most residents live in the West near the Green Forest where they harvest the sap from maple trees. What product they export is sent down the river Surma by barge to Yatton then further on to the rest of southern Jelling.

I added more towns like Umbertree, Maverel, and Wincott and will go over them at a later date.
