@Cyric, Ouch on the whole no translations deal. Here 4e is popular at the small cons that I go to here in the Midwest. The game store I visit will be busy on the 26th for World Wide DnD game day. This last Winter War had its biggest year yet for RPGs in its 37 year history. It also had the widest variety of RPGs ever, primarily because 4e is not holding the interest of many gaming diehards the way earlier versions did. 3.5 games and Pathfinder games were the next most popular then Call of Cthulhu which is extremely popular at cons.

@greentiger you asked about my books, I got 80bucks (I was offered 100, but felt bad about taking that much) I still have my forgotten realms players guide, I spilled soda all over it at a con.

Yeh, I never even jumped on the 4e train. Never felt like D&D to me. Had the same prob with 3.0/3.5 allready, even though (just like you) I bought everything they published and even played it constantly. But it was never the same experience I had from D&D Basic and AD&D 2nd.

What is the status of D&D th in the US, though? It's absolutly unpopular in Germany, btw. No tanslations since the core rulebooks came on the market...
