We bought our tickets for Megacon taking place here in Orlando March 25th – 27th, 2011 at the Orange County Convention Center, in Hall D. Hey it is our first big con here in Florida since we moved. I plan to play more pathfinder and Gail plans to track down comic artists and her favorite Scifi and fantasy actors and authors.
We bought our tickets from a local game shop, Coliseum of Comics (no financial interest). The shop offered a raffle to meet Stan Lee if you bought a t-shirt for 8 bucks so, well, we bought some Ts.
We also got a game to play at the con. I like to try fast play games and from the description the Bomb sounds like a fast game, plus it it portable.
Yeah we are a nerd family but hey we have fun. I hope to get my Pathfinder character up to 3rd level and meet more local gamers. At New Years the people at my table said Megacon had a lot more local player attendance.
