When looking at this word, I thought “Dragoman” would be a chimeric creature that is part dragon and part man. But Dragoman is actually the title of an interpretor, specifically someone who helps relations between Arabic, Persian and Turkish speaking countries and European countries, like during the Ottoman Empire.
In our games we frequently run into someone who speaks another language than common. We are usually lucky enough to have a member who speaks that language when it’s Elven or Dwarven. But of course there is that one person who is telling us a major clue to our plot, if only we spoke Draconic. In the few instances we have had a PC speak Draconic, I believe we could call them a “Dragoman”, since they help us interpret the Dragon’s language.
