All characters will be created with the “high fantasy” 20 point purchase method on page 16 of the Core Rulebook.

Use a modified version of Method 1: Standard Array found on Player’s Handbook page 17, for ability score generation.

No matter what rules set used, on the day of the first game, the player can then role a 1d4 in front of the GM, and use result to increase one, or up four ability scores as you wish.
